Every month we highlight a few of our favorite and most noteworthy events from the past month.
Unicorn Birthday
This sweet 1st birthday party came together from a spectacular vision by Kehoe Designs. Pink uplighting gave the room a magical feel. Sweet Soirees created an amazing sweets table full of unicorn and pastel treats. The table was accented with a few organic balloon garlands that really gave it the finishing touch. The photo area for the event had a giant wall with abstract clouds with pink, mint, and blue accents. Because there are never enough balloons, we added an oversized organic balloon garland that cascaded down the left side.
Corporate Meeting
Just before our announcement of Custom Vinyl being available, this company asked about doing something with their logo as well. We offered to their balloons to make them stand out by adding their logo to the mylar balloons with custom decals. It was the perfect solution for their company meeting to be special. Each table had a simple centerpiece with a star featuring their logo. Near the front of the room stood two columns each with two stars featuring their logo.
Pokémon Go Fest
Pokêmon fans who play the popular mobile game, PokémonGo, gathered in Grant Park for PokémonGo Fest. The fest was created to celebrate the one year anniversary of PokémonGO with thousands of Trainers (players) from the community! If you’re unfamiliar with the game, there are three teams players can choose when they start playing. Team Valor (Red), Team Mystic (Blue), and Team Instinct (Yellow). The fest featured colored tents for each team to hang out in and meet fellow team members. We were asked to create three helium filled balloon arches that would be an estimated 350 feet long. Each arch would be a separate color representing each team. The arches were placed over the main stage area, floating high above the crowd.

Bride Style
A Perfect Event hosted a “Bride Style” party at DL Loft to celebrate wedding and party trends. A group of industry professionals staged the location to show off floral arrangements, stationary, party favors, decor, and styled brides to influencers in the event business. We were a part of that group and provided white and ivory organic balloon garlands for the decor. A few clear balloons with gold glitter were added into the mix as well. Debi Lilly added some live greenery to the garlands once we had completed the installations. Amanda Megan Miller Photography did a wonderful job of capturing the feel of the event. The final look was stunning and sure to make any bride ecstatic on her big day.
