Every month we highlight a few of our favorite and most noteworthy events from the past month.
Sky Rise Chicago
The Sky Rise Chicago event is held annually to benefit the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. Participants try to raise as much money as they can through donations prior to the event date. When the event day arrives, the participants are then challenged to climb 103 flights of stairs at the Willis (Sears) Tower. Those who are physically unable to climb the stairs but still want to participate can do so via hand cycles! This year we provided balloon decor for the event space as well. Columns were placed around the customer service and refreshment areas and towering bead columns topped with fireworks were placed in the main staging area. The look that this created was exciting and we couldn’t get enough of it!
Aragon Ballroom
Red Bull Sound Select held a #30DaysInChicago promotion this month featuring a different performer every night. We were fortunate to be able to help decorate the Aragon Ballroom for one of their events featuring singer and songwriter Khalid. The decor for this event consisted of HUGE 8 foot balloons and even bigger 10 foot light up balloon clouds. The ceiling of the venue is a dark painting reminiscent of a night sky, which only enhanced the look of our decor. Add the event lighting to the setup and everything looked space-tacular!
Thank you Dinner
Bees aren’t generally welcomed at meal time but, lucky for us this bee was invited! This BEE thankful themed thank you dinner went black and yellow in their decor and featured a giant bee sculpture floating above the center of the room. Bee printed balloons were used in the table centerpieces as well. Everyone was buzzing about the event and how cute the bee looked!
