Our favorite decor from October 2017
Every month we pick a couple of our favorite and most noteworthy events and give you a little more insight to them. October kept us pretty busy and we have a few extra events than usual to share this month. Looking for our Halloween events? You can see them here!
This company employee gala had balloons on the brain when it came to their decor. There were towering jumbo light up centerpieces around the room but something else was taking the main focus. On the main stage a 24 foot by 10 foot balloon wall literally took center stage. It lit up, it was awesome, and we have a time lapse video of the setup! What more could you ask for?
Candy Land Celebration
Candy land is a theme we feature a few times a year. It’s just so bright, fun, and colorful! We worked in collaboration with Atmosphere Special Effects for Ellie’s Candy themed Bat Mitzvah celebration inspired by Dylan’s Candy Bar. A balloon arch filled with lollipops, peppermints, and other candies was placed over the DJ booth. Fun balloon squiggle arches were placed over several of the tables with candy attached to the ceiling too creating a sort of candy canopy! The remaining decor was created and provided by Atmosphere, visit their Facebook page to see more from this and other events!
Company 50th Birthday
When your company reaches it’s 50th year in business, it’s a big deal! So big, that celebratory a party is definitely in order. This company did just that. An extra large deluxe balloon wall was placed at the back of the stage in gold and white. Front and center was a large “50” and “RCEC” in gold balloon numbers and letters. This type of celebration called some champagne too. Flowing champagne columns were placed at opposite ends of the stage and a smaller tabletop column was made for a table.
Truly an organic installation. This was a whopping 50 foot organic garland in purples with a few silver orb balloons as accents. This type of installation uses a lot of balloons of varying sizes to give it that organic style look. Because it was for a ceiling and not an actual garland, we were able to have it branch off into more than one straight line. This Bat Mitzvah’s dance floor was anything but boring!
Cubs Post Season
Hey Chicago, waddaya say? The Chicago Cubs had a great season again this year and while they didn’t make it to the World Series again this year we still enjoyed the ride. During the final NLCS games we were hired to decorate The Park at Wrigley. Organic red, white, and blue balloon garlands with little cubs balloons were made in sections and attached to a staircase. Some bouquets were made for a few other locations around the park. Single 3′ balloons filled with confetti in post season colors were also made for a different location. Maybe next year we can make it back to the World Series again, fingers crossed!
